Yeah, neither of those is true. (But I kind of look like a mix of Gimli and Fey, so there’s that.)
Actual real stuff about me:
I started writing when I was about seven years old. Someone gave me a chubby pink notebook that said Attitude on the cover, and I just couldn’t stop scratching out bad poetry in its pages. Since then, I never stopped writing. A lifetime of bad poems and dramatized journal entries led me to literary fiction as my strong suit and content marketing/writing as my paycheck. Editing came into play with constant peer critiquing workshops in my undergrad and more recently with work for non-profits and small businesses. My heartbeat is helping writers develop their voice, making it memorable and true. I can’t watch a movie without character development, so you won’t sneak an under-developed foil by me.
I’m truly jazzed to be part of MS Edits and start diving into your manuscripts. Feel free to reach out and contact me with questions or visit my personal site.
Cheers to you and your characters,
